DescriptionTwo watercolor painting studies depicting a similar scene. Both are on rectangular off-white paper. Each painting depicts a group of people traveling over land using pack animals including horses and a bull. The larger, more detailed study show children and infants are riding on the horses, a man on the viewer's right carries weapons including a firearm, and the woman to his right carries a wheel(?). The landscapes are bleak with trees in the background. White margins surround the painted areas.
