Historical NotesThis dress is from the 1950s and was designed by Anne Fogarty when she worked for Margot, Inc. Designer Anne Fogarty was active from 1940-1980. She designed for Margot, Inc. from 1950-1957 and Saks Fifth Avenue from 1957-1964. In 1964 she started her own firm Anne Fogarty, Inc. She retired in 1974 and closed her business.
