DescriptionCampaign badge consisting of a metal, circular, celluloid button attached to two vertical ribbons. Button features a white background, with blue text in the center. Back has black plastic backer, with horizonal clasped pinback. Two white ribbons attached to the bottom section on the back of the button by three staples. Red text on both ribbons. InscriptionsText on button reads: "35TH WARD / DEMOCRATIC / COMMITTEEMAN". Allied Printing union label printed next to it: "ALLIED PRINTING / TRADES [UNION / LABEL] COUNCIL / PHILADELPHIA".

Text on viewer's right ribbon reads: "VOTE / STRAIGHT / DEMOCRATIC", with "DEMOCRATIC" printed vertically with one letter on each line.

Text on viewer's left ribbon reads: "CLARK / DILWORTH / BYRNE / FOR / COUNCIL".

Union label printed at the bottom of both ribbons, which read: "ALLIED PRINTING / TRADES [UNION / LABEL] COUNCIL / PHILADELPHIA", with "17" within a circle printed to the viewer's right of the label.
MarksMaker's mark printed on the bottom edge of button, and is difficult to read: "PHILA BADGE CO PHILA PA".
