Historical NotesSt. Paul's Cathedral school uniform worn by Dena Dortenzo during her childhood in the predominately Italian American neighborhood of Bloomfield in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Like her mother, who was a librarian at Immaculate Conception, Dena's K-12 education was entirely within the parochial school system. She attended grade school at Immaculate Conception. For high school, she attended the all-girls Catholic high school St. Paul's Cathedral, which merged with Sacred Heart in 1989 to form Oakland Catholic. The sweaters and skirt would have been worn with a long-sleeved white oxford shirt.
