The back of the bottle has text that states "THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD." The lid has text on the bottom of it stating "Lightning / Pa - Sept 10 78."
Historical NotesHand blown bottle from Thomas Murray Bottling Work, 1st Ward. The works was located on 106 Fourth Avenue between Market and Ferry Streets. They are listed in the papers after the early 1900s as Thomas Murray & Sons.
