Historical NotesPart of a collection of political and protest buttons collected by donor Terence N. Palso. “S.J. Wainwright, Jr. for Mayor” is from the local brewers 1908 campaign for mayor of Pittsburgh, he was one of the Republican candidates that year along with William A. Magee, Jr and John F. Steel, Magee won the race.
