Historical NotesPart of a collection of political and protest buttons collected by donor Terence N. Palso. Handed out in front of Pittsburgh supermarkets. Boycott Grapes campaign in the late 1960s and early 1970s of the United Farm Workers, led by activist Cesar Chavez to boycott growers that employed non-union workers or that attempted to contract with pickers without consulting the UFW. The grape strike started in the mid-1960s.
