Top of each sleeve has a black patch with yellow embroidered decoration and text: proper left sleeve's patch has city of Pittsburgh crest at center with "PITTSBURGH" above and "POLICE" below; proper right sleeve's patch has city of Pittsburgh crest at center with "CITY OF PITTSBURGH / POLICE" above and "DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY" below.

One maker tag and one maker label inside collar at back center: tag has black text on front "38 / REG / ... / ASSEMBLED IN / EL SALVADOR" and label has embroidered red and blue text "Flying Cross / ... / 65% DACRON POLYESTER - 35% RAYON..."

One maker tag at bottom of proper left front panel has black text including on front "PO-153351-P /... / [care instructions] / "APPROVED BY LAPD" " and on reverse "FLYING CROSS BY FECHHEIMER".

Inside of waist has repeated gray text "FLYING CROSS / BY FECHHEIMER".

White fabric label inside above proper left back pocket has blue, red, and black text including "FLYING CROSS / UNION MADE IN U.S.A. BY FECHHEIMER / [care instructions]"; white tag attached to the proper left end of the label has black embroidered text "28R".

Inside proper left rear pocket was found an inspection tag with black text "INSPECTED / BY #1" [removed to 2016.45 object file].

Inside cap has rectangular adhesive label with blue printed text including "ADJUSTABLE SWEATBAND / ... / Small:..."; Small is marked with red ink as the size.

Inside cap has two white fabric maker tags at front with black printed text: Proper left tag "S" and proper right tag "MADE BY / KEYSTONE UNIFORM / CAP / Philadelphia, PA / MADE IN USA".

Black fabric label on back of necktie has gray embroidered text "UNIFORM CRAVATS / MADE IN USA / 100% POLYESTER".

Historical NotesCostumes from the set of the television show “Those Who Kill,” which was filmed in Pittsburgh for one season before being cancelled. This uniform was worn by actress Chloë Sevigny while playing Detective Catherine Jensen.
