DescriptionTrophy with square brown wooden base with slanted front on which sits a silver-colored metal figure of a man wearing a baseball uniform and hat running with a baseball bat in his left hand. At back of trophy is a semi-rectangular piece of matching wood that stands up behind figure of man. On wood is a silver metal circle with design. On slanted front of trophy is a silver-colored metal plaque.Dimensions8.25 x 3.5 in. (21 x 8.9 cm)InscriptionsSilver plaque has text "Tri Boro / 1st Place / 1966".
Handwritten on bottom of trophy is "Mahaffey".
Historical NotesObject belonged to Mildred Martin Allen, who helped to develop the Tri-Boro Softball League and served as its commissioner during much of its existence from 1960-1976. She also played and coached the Satellites softball team (1960-1976). Donated by Mildred Allen's daughter, Beatrice M. Harper.
