DescriptionTrophy with rectangular gray/white marble base on which stands a silver and gold tower-like structure, on top of which is a silver figure of a woman in a shorts uniform with a hat, running with a softball bat in her left hand. On the front side of the marble base is a gold colored metal plaque.Dimensions9 x 3 in. (22.9 x 7.6 cm)
InscriptionsGold plaque has text "Tri-Boro League / All Stars / 1973".

Handwritten on bottom of trophy is "Mahaffe..."
MarksSticker on side has text "Fine Marble / Base / Made in Italy".

On bottom: "Chatham Sports Center / Pgh. PA 15219 / 904 5th. AVE / Phone 281-7676".
Historical NotesObject belonged to Mildred Martin Allen, who helped to develop the Tri-Boro Softball League and served as its commissioner during much of its existence from 1960-1976. She also played and coached the Satellites softball team (1960-1976). Donated by Mildred Allen's daughter, Beatrice M. Harper.
