Historical NotesWooden cigar box from the Seventh Avenue Hotel. The Seventh Avenue Hotel was located on Seventh Avenue and Liberty Street in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1876 in the Queen Anne style. In 1950, the hotel was bought by the Earle-Milner Hotel chain and called the Earl Hotel. On April 1, 1963 it was replaced by a Pittsburgh City parking garage.
