Three buttons on sleeve cuffs; one button on proper right appears to have been replaced. Eleven buttons down back. Dimensions56.75 in. (144.1 cm)Historical NotesWhite heirloom "handkerchief" dress worn by donor Carol Cambell Swinston's maternal grandmother, Florence Jones Arnd (1890-1975), wife of Maurice Arnd. Florence was a descendent of the Jones family that made up the Jones & Laughlin Company. She and Maurice lived on South Negley Avenue, and she wore the dress sometime between 1910 and 1930.
