Historical NotesThis button was made to protest the closing and demolition of the Dorothy 6 furnace at the United States Steel Duquesne Works. Dorothy 6 was named for Dorothy Worthington, wife of the head of USS Co. It closed in the 1980's when much of the steel industry left the region.
