Fabric pattern is light purple (lavender) background with small white leaf-shapes repeated throughout and larger white curvilinear leaf-shapes interspersed amongst them. Historical NotesThis purple and white patterned skirt and jacket were the wedding gown worn by Mary Lilias Dell when she married J. Edward Lytle in 1901. Her mother Mary made the dress, she was a gifted seamstress. Part of a collection of handmade clothing from the Dell family. The family lived in Duquesne, PA.
