Historical NotesDonor Clement J. Blazewick wore this basketball jacket from St. Casimir High School his Senior year. Clement J. Blazewick graduated from St. Casimir High School and played basketball for the team in 1962 when they won the Section I title. St. Casimir Church was the first Lithuanian parish in the City of Pittsburgh. The church and school were at 22nd and Sarah Street in the South Side and are now apartments and condominiums. The basketball team started in the early 1940s and obtained three Pennsylvania Catholic Interscholastic Athletic Association state championships in 1945, 1946, and 1956. The school was closed in 1969. The donor is part of the St. Casimir Alumni Association in the South Hills.
