DescriptionCarved plastic Peacock fish, mounted via hook in back. Coated in plastic and proper right profie painted: green, orange, white, brown, black, yellow. Plastic red and black eye. Mouth opened; sealed to inside. Red felt in gill. Fins protruding from body. Back side: painted black, grey, and white. Two large screws in back with a thick bent wire for hanging purposes. Two screw holes in same area. Detailed on both front and back: scales, lines on fins and tail.Dimensions10.5 x 20 in. (26.7 x 50.8 cm)
Historical NotesHerbert Ratner won a World Record in 1999 for catching a Butterfly Peacock; this fish may have been a memento of that award.
