Historical NotesManual corn sheller made by C.M. McClung & Co. in Knoxville and sold in Pittsburgh. The name of the retailer is partially unreadable. It is a "Favorite" one hole model. This corn sheller was found in a barn on donor Trish Miller's grandparents (Mike and Peg Fifer) farm in Sewickley. The 50-acre farm was purchased by the Fifer's in 1945. Today a portion of the land is still owned by the family and another portion was donated to the Hollow Oak Land Trust.
