DescriptionWhite and red fabric belt with silver colored metal clasps on each end. On obverse edge a red stripe runs along the middle and thee edges are stitched with white thread. The obverse is shiny fabric. On the reverse red thread stitching runs along the middle in two lines.Dimensions1.75 x 0.125 x 35 in. (4.4 x 0.3 x 88.9 cm)
MarksIn both metal clasps is inscribed "SOLID BRASS".

On reverse of belt is stamped "38".
Historical NotesPart of a collection related to the basketball career of Dr. Harry R. Zeller. Zeller played high school, independent, college, and professional basketball before becoming a doctor. Zeller first played basketball at St. George High School and also played in the Pittsburgh Municipal League whose games were played at the South Side Market House court. He went on to play for Washington and Jefferson for four years and for the University of Pittsburgh for two while attending medical school. While at Pitt he was named to the All-East team in 1946. Professionally he played for the Pittsburgh Ironmen from 1947 to 1948. While at Pitt he played in the East/West play-off game, the game was played at Madison Square Garden. He died in 2004 at the age of 85.
