DescriptionKhaki military uniform shirt. The front of the shirt has six, light brown buttons on the proper right side. With corresponding button holes on the proper left side. The front of the jacket has two breast pockets, one on the proper right side and one on the proper left side. Each pocket has a button in order to keep the top flap of the pocket closed. The proper right sleeve has a red and blue insignia patch with a white symbol in the blue section and a green border. The insignia represents the 76th Infantry Division. The proper right sleeve has the chevron insignia for private, at the bottom of the sleeve there is a brown button to keep the sleeve closed. Under the proper right collar there is a brown button that has a corresponding button hole on the proper left side. On the proper left sleeve there is a red and blue insignia patch for the 30th infantry. Below that is a chevron insignia for the rank of private. The bottom of the sleeve has a patch of two gold bars this is an overseas patch, meaning someone served in the military for two 6 month terms. The one underneath that is a green and black hash that means a person served in the military for three years. Historical NotesPart of a collection that documents the Fisher, Keltz, and Kenyon families. The majority of the collection is related to the WWII service of brothers Walt and Robert Fisher. Walter Fisher was in the Airborne, Medical Corps and was in Germany.
