Back of frame has handwritten in black ink at top center "900" which is repeatedly struckthrough with ballpoint black ink.
MarksBack of frame backer has handwritten in black ink "Vinka's / 50th yr. Testimonial / Sept. 24th 1977 / Detroit - (Roma's - Bloomfield) / -Mich / This was part of Center piece / at speakers table & honoured guest / Vinka / Framed by Zora Ellesin".
Back of frame has stamped black text on left side at center "MADE IN GERMANY".
Historical NotesPart of a collection of Serbian artifacts. Vinka Ellesin was a folk singer who sang Serbian music in the sevdalinka style. The Serbian community in the United States referred to her as the "Queen of Sevdalinka."
