Historical NotesZoar Home (for Mothers, Babies, and Convalescents) badge, worn by donor when she was in a nurses training program at the Zoar Home in 1950. The program lasted a year and a half; the pin was an identification badge for the student nurses. The Zoar Home was established in 1912 in Wilkinsburg, PA, before moving to Swissvale, PA, and finally Allison Park, PA.
