Historical NotesPud Galvin National Baseball Hall of Fame induction bat. Pud Galvin, born James Francis Galvin, lived from1856 to 1902 and played for both the Pittsburgh Alleghenies and the Pittsburgh Burghers. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on July 27, 1965.
