Historical NotesBelonged to Paul Snively Morrill, the brother of the donor, Martha Morrill Corson. It was used at the family home in Greensburg, PA., to teach young Paul his letters and numbers. This is an early 20-century toy that was entertaining and also educational and shows family involvement in child education. The images also suggest how children were taught to think about the period around WWI and after.
