Historical NotesThis painting was donated to the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania in April 1972 by John A. Robertshaw, Sr. James Alfred Oldshue was a well known Pittsburgh physician and the first police surgeon in Pittsburgh. His father Lincoln Oldshue was also a physician.
