DescriptionEarthenware "Turk's Head" mold: press-molded red-orange color body clay, coated with a clear glaze, which has fired to a bright pumpkin-orange color; embossed fluting on interior, with considerable detail at the base of a tapered, cone-shaped center column; scalloped edge at upper rim.Dimensions3.25 x 8.5 in. (8.3 x 21.6 cm)Historical NotesFine detailing inside would suggest usage for puddings or gelatins, rather than a cake-type preparation.
