Inscribed numbers on each of the valve cylinders: "43" on rear cylinder, "44 / 2" on center cylinder, and "45" on front cylinder.
Historical NotesCornet and case that belonged to donor Carol Shelton's great uncle Alexander Wilt. Wilt had a bakery in the North Side of Pittsburgh. He was born in 1884. He married Ethel Louise Wilt and they eventually ended up in Ohio.
