DescriptionBrass-colored trophy on square, wooden base. Depicts a police officer on top with proper right arm pointing a gun to the right standing atop a trophy cup. Cup is surrounded by three eagles and is supported by three columns. Inside the columns is a male figure with arms raised over his head holding a wreath in his proper right hand. On the base is an engraved plaque and laurel wreaths on the other sides.Dimensions29 x 8.25 x 7 in. (73.7 x 21 x 17.8 cm)InscriptionsOn trophy cup: "DONATED BY / S. Historical NotesRobert Fadzen, Sr. was a sharpshooter and firearms instructor for the Pittsburgh Police from 1951-1979. He later became Chief of Police for Carnegie Mellon University and held that position until his death in 1986. His son, Robert Fadzen, Jr., (as of 2011) was the Chief of Security for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. He has held that position since 1996. Part of the Pittsburgh Police Historical Association collection.
