Historical NotesAdelaide Benney Shinkle was born in 1867 and died in 1902. Her husband was Charles H. Shinkle, president of the Myers & Shinkle Co. She and her husband had four children. Adelaide Benney Shinkle was an in-law of Judge Samuel A. McClung and his wife Fannie Merritt McClung. Donor Samuel A. McClung III is a descendent of the Mellon’s as well as the McClungs.
