Gown is made of beige satin with lace; slight V-neck on long-sleeved bodice; thirteen satin-covered buttons on each sleeve cuff and thirty-six satin-covered buttons down back of bodice. Synthetic lace overlay on skirt. Historical NotesWedding gown and accessories from the wedding of Mary Drop and Michael M. "Mino" Saula on Thanksgiving, November 26, 1953, at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Wilmerding, Pennsylvania. Mary took about a year to design and make her gown of satin and 78 yards of Chantilly lace. The reception welcomed 800 guests. The new Mrs. Saula was invited to model her gown on the Jean Connelly TV show in January, 1954.
