Historical NotesThe flag is the flag for the Navy of the Third Reich called the Kriegsmarine. There was a similar flag prior to this one, however it did not have the outside white border around the cross and swastika. Part of a collection that documents the Fisher, Keltz, and Kenyon families. The majority of the collection is related to the WWII service of brothers Walt and Robert Fisher. Walter Fisher was in the Airborne, Medical Corps and served in Germany. This flag was signed by his unit.
