DescriptionSilver spoon with raised design on the handle and bowl. In the bowl is an image of two sculpture towers with trees and hills in the background and name of location. On the front of the handle at the top is city name with the Pittsburgh coat of arms below. Under that is a raised image of a man with name above his head. Below that is a raised image of a building with name of fort above the roof. Below that is a crossed shovel and pickaxe above a tower with a flame at the top. On the back of the handle are four raised images of buildings in descending size with descriptions above.Dimensions0.375 x 1.312 x 5.875 in. (1 x 3.3 x 14.9 cm)InscriptionsIn the bowl text reads: ENTRANCE / HIGHLAND / PARK".
On the front of the handle at the top reads "PITTSBURG" with the Pittsburgh coat of arms below. Under that is a raised image of a man with "WILLIAM PITT" above his head. Below that is a raised image of a building with "FORT PITT" above the roof.
On the back of the handle are four raised images of buildings in descending size with "POST OFFICE", "CARNEGIE/LIBRARY", "UNION DEPOT", and FORT / DUQUESNE" above.
MarksHallmark (image?) "STERLING" on back of handle.
