Historical NotesIn 1895, the Etna Volunteer Fire Company, which later was renamed the Etna Volunteer Fire Company Number 1, became a Charter Member of The Allegheny County Fireman's Association. Part of a collection transferred from the McKeesport Heritage Center that documents Pittsburgh Volunteer Firefighting from the 1910s through the 1950s (majority c. 1925).
