InscriptionsRaised on the front is an image of a stage with curtains on either side and "MAJESTIC A.C." written across top.

At bottom is a circle of light blue colored enamel with the letters "MAC" intertwined inside.

Text on back in raised letters reads: "TOURNAMENT / 1915"; below that is engraved "125 LB / J. MITCHELL".
MarksAt bottom on back: "Dieges & Clust".
Historical NotesAmateur boxing medal won by John Anthony Mitchell, grandfather of the donor. Born in Glenwood, PA, in 1897, John Anthony Mitchell was a local amateur boxer who competed in and around Pittsburgh. He earned this medal at an amateur boxing tournament held at the Majestic Athletic Club in McKeesport in 1915.
