(0.6 x 17.8 x 13.3 cm)
InscriptionsText in the bottom center section reads: "TO COMMEMORATE / THE OCCASION OF / COMMENCING WORK / ON THE / EAST RIVER TUNNELS / OCT. 13TH 1914".

Historical NotesGeorge H. Flinn of Pittsburgh was president of the Flinn-O'Rourke Co., Inc., which was formed to construct the four East River tunnels. Construction began on October 13th, 1914.
