Black leather hat band affixed with two gold-colored metal rivets. Black inner band. Thin elastic chin strap connected to the sides.Dimensions7 x 9 x 32.75 in. Tag inside hat reads: "7 3-8" inside a red oval on a gold tag.
Historical NotesIn 1956, Victor Haentze began making made-to-order hats in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to "give an edge" to the costume business he had inherited from his father. He became known for styles that were the most authentic available. Part of the Pittsburgh Police Historical Association collection.
