BiographyThe Consolidated Lamp & Glass company is known for the production of art glass.

In 1893 the company is chartered in West Virginia. The headquarters are located in Pittsburgh. In 1894 the company purchased the Fostoria, Ohio factory. A new plant is built in Coraopolis in 1895. The Fostoria factory burns down in 1896 and workers are moved to Coraopolis. There is a hiatus in production from 1932 to 1936 due to the Great Depression. in 1963 the company ceases operation following a fire that destroyed the plant in Coraopolis.
