BiographyThe Conley Camera Company, first owned by brothers Kerry and Frederick Conley was founded in 1899 in Spring Valley, Minnesota. After a contract with Sears in 1903 which slowly transitioned the company from small-scale to large-scale, the brothers moved the company by train to Rochester, MN. The Conley Magazine Camera was the first camera to be produced by the company. By 1910, Sears bought out the company and the brothers went on in pursuit of other career goals.
