BiographyBeatty Glass Works formed in Steubenville, OH. in 1845 by Joseph Beatty and Edward Stillman. In 1852, Alexander Beatty bought the works and formed the A.J. Beatty & Sons Glass Company. The company also operated out of Tiffin, OH. It was absorbed with the United States Glass Company in 1892.
