DescriptionColorless glass goblet with acid-etched decoration. Deep inverted-bell or pear-shaped body, set upon a columnar-shape stem, connected by means of a small wafer to a circular foot. Top rim ground flat and polished. Etched pattern of roses and buds surround the body, the waist of which features faintly embossed vertical panels, giving a fluted effect.DimensionsHeight x Diameter: 6.438 × 3.063 in. Historical NotesPart of a collection of glassware with decoration applied by donor Beatrice Cobun's grandfather, Joseph Locke, who operated a workshop (Locke Art Glass) located in Mount Oliver. This particular glass uses the same blank as 2000.24.18, but with different decorative motif.
