Historical NotesA reproduction of the glass "spirit" jug originally made by the Bryce Company in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, probably in the 1940s. Bryce specialized in marked or decorated stemware for clubs, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The jug may originally have been a premium or gift for clients or for special events - it is intended to measure out liquor, much like a shot glass. This copy was created to commemorate a reunion of members of the Bryce family held in Pittsburgh in September 2010.
