DescriptionMiniature rocking chair television prop made of dark brown wood, burgundy fabric, and padding. The back of the chair is shaped like a Tudor arch and the backing of the fabric is pointed. The arms are padded. The sides of the chair are flat and curved at the bottom for the rockers. The bottom of the front and back of the chair have a point aimed down in the middle. Light grey painted detailing around edges following design of the wood.Dimensions5.25 x 2.625 x 4 in. (13.3 x 6.7 x 10.2 cm)
Historical NotesCornflake S. Pecially's miniature rocking chair used on the set of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Cornflake S. Pecially, also known as Corney, one of the puppet characters, owned and lived in the Rockit rocking chair factory in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. A variety of miniature rocking chairs were used at Corney's factory. You can see the small red and brown chair and the white and yellow chair in the window of the Rockit Factory. Part of a collection from the set of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Mister Rogers was one of the longest running children’s show on public television. It debuted on national television in 1968 and ran until the 2001.
