Historical NotesJohn Cenci’s varsity letter in football from Schenley High School in 1950, when they were City League Champions. John Cenci was University of Pittsburgh football co-captain. Cenci played in the 1956 Sugar Bowl bowl game that featured the 7th-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and the 11th-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers. This was the first integrated Sugar Bowl .
