Historical NotesPatch related to Mary Scabilloni's career as a Cub Scout Den Mother. Mary Scabilloni of Castle Shannon got involved with the Cub Scouts in the early 1960s when her five sons started to participate (she also had one daughter who joined the Girl Scouts). Her sons were in the Conestoga District in the South Hills area, and Mary remained as a Den Mother in the Cub Scouts because she enjoyed working with the young children. She was involved with the Greater Pittsburgh Council as a commissioner, and she worked with the day camps in the Pittsburgh district. She also served as a commissioner with the Conestoga Wagon district where she planned events.
