Historical NotesEquipment used by Kelsey DiClaudio while playing sled hockey for Team USA. Gloves used from 2016-2020. Label TextIntroduced to sled hockey at age 8 through the Mighty Penguins team, DiClaudio has become a female phenom in the sport. In 2010, she competed as the only female member of the Mighty Penguins in the semi-finals of the first annual USA Hockey Sled Classic. Four years later, DiClaudio represented the country as a member of the U.S. Women’s National Ice Sledge Hockey Team at the inaugural IPC Sledge Hockey Women’s International Cup. The leading scorer in the tournament, she racked up four goals and one assist in the U.S. Gold Medal 5-1 victory. Kelsey was also chosen as the only female for the U.S. Development Sled Hockey Team in 2014. Named to the U.S. Women’s National Sled Team in 2017, DiClaudio continues to represent her country internationally and to compete for the Mighty Penguins Senior team.
