Historical NotesPart of a collection of Kaufmann's memorabilia collected by donor Jan Kelly during her career. The donor worked with May Company Kaufmanns / Filene’s / May Company St.Louis from 1989 thru 2006. In 1989 , she started at Kaufmann’s in Human Resources at Monroeville Mall, then promoted to Ross Park Mall, and then promoted to Downtown to oversee Human Resources for the Cosmetic Division. In 2002, when May Company merged with Kaufmann's in Pittsburgh and with Filene’s in Boston she was promoted to oversee Employee and Labor Relations for Filene’s-Kaufmann’s, then in 2006 was promoted to Manager of Labor and Associate Relations for the parent company (May Company) in St. Louis.
