Historical NotesThe Babushka Brigade bandana was produced by and sponsored by Murphy's Mart as a stadium giveaway on August 19, 1975. There was a deal for a babushka and a ticket for $1.49. This bandana was a key predecessor to the development of the Pittsburgh Steeler's Terrible Towel.
