Historical NotesThe Wolfson family made this sign on October 27, 2018, in response to the attack at the Tree of Life synagogue earlier in the day. Arianna and Aidan Wolfson, then five and three years old respectively, designed the sign (and decorated the back). Amira Wolfson carried the sign during a candlelight vigil at the corner of Murray and Forbes Avenues that evening. Amira attended the vigil with her friends and neighbors Alison and Matt Culyba. Several news outlets documented the sign through their coverage of the event. Amira Wolfson can be seen in a light-colored raincoat and a striped ball cap.
