DescriptionTape measure premium. Circular silver metal casing. Front at center has circular brass-colored band framing green text and central screw. Retractable silver metal measuring tape located at 7:00 on the circular case. Measuring tape has chrome metal bent tab at end, and tape features black printed inch marks with numbers in black. Historical NotesIsaly's tape measure giveaway gifted to donor James W. Pry II's mother Louise Crider Pry by Louise and Henry Isaly. Henry was the youngest son of William Isaly, the company’s founder. Louise Crider Pry went to high school in Mansfield with Henry and Louise. Henry Isaly and Louise Emery were married in 1928. They moved to Pittsburgh in 1929 to help open up an Isaly’s plant in the city. The company went on to open a factory on Boulevard of the Allies and many branch stores.
