DescriptionProp owl formed with unknown treated plastic/fiber/resin-type material. Painted in grays, browns, and blacks including metallic painted copper eyes. Body of owl contains two owlets with painted yellow eyes. Prop is mounted on a black painted wooden board with red painted wooden bracket on right side. Reverse of prop is hollow and bottom half is filled with orange spray foam insulation, some of the insulation is visible on the front underneath the owl and has been painted black.DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth: 18.75 × 22 × 13.25 in. Historical NotesOwl prop from Hoot 'N Holler Railroad ride at Kennywood Park. Part of a Kennywood Park collection donated by Jason Belavic who was an employee at the park from 1988 to 2009. Belavic started out as a pot washer in the “Patio Café” and went on to work in various capacities throughout his time at Kennywood. When items were being disposed of, Belavic would take them home and preserve them.
