Historical NotesPittsburgh Maulers away jersey inscribed with the name "Ned Marvos." Marvos served as the Mauler’s assistant coach. Because the jersey does not have a name on the back they may have been back-up/practice jersey. The Pittsburgh Maulers were members of the United States Football League and played in Three Rivers Stadium. They were founded in April of 1983 and folded by October of 1984 because team owner Edward DeBartolo did not agree with the league decision to switch to a fall schedule.
